  Fitness for me became a passion when I decided to do something to change my life.  I did not like who I was in my skin and I decided to do something to change it.  I started with walking and then who knew I started running and I LOVED IT! I soon started to invest time into 5k runs and found a passion for that.  I decided to go with my sister to a group fitness Kickboxing class and immediately fell in love!  I loved the idea of group fitness and what it does for people.  I found classes at PAC and started attending.  This was a huge impact in my weight loss.  I love group fitness and these classes so much that I wanted to share them with others.  So that is when I decided to open a group fitness studio in Devine, Texas.  I love seeing the results of all the members and being apart of that. I am a Zumba Fitness and Zumbatonic Instructor, and I look forward to seeing you in class!

  I'm a mother of 4 who is constantly on the run with my children, my husband, my church calling, helping my parents run their group foster home and Zumba.  I've struggled with my weight since 2002, but in November 2010 I took my first Zumba class and fell in love immediately.  Since then I have gone from a size 16 to an 8, with a loss of over 50lbs.  I have discovered my love for fitness and became an instructor in February 2011.  From then on I have added to my collection with Zumba B1, Zumba B2, Zumba Toning, and Body Flow.  I plan to continue training, gaining more knowledge and getting more certifications so I can better the lives and health of those around me.

   The reason I decided to get into this business is because I love it!! I love the programs and believe in them. I have been over weight and am still on my weight loss journey.  To date I have lost 101lbs and still going.  

   I have had the lap band done and that has helped as well but I could not do it without diet and regular exercise.  So many people think that lap band will do it all on it's own but it is a tool to help me not a crutch.  

  Les Mills programs are great!  I love them all Combat, Pump and FLow but if I had to choose a favorite it would be Body Combat. It is an intense class and when you are finish you are soaked with sweat but you feel amazing.  I also love the Zumba classes you have so much fun dancing you forget you are working out.  And not to forget about the BOOT CAMP.  It was amazing.  I was pushed to my limits! But I have never in my life thought I could be a runner and here I am running 3 miles. (Hopefully one day I can do a half marathon 13 miles). Come by and try us out!! Hi I'm Lori! Im a Body Pump, Body Combat, and Boot Camp fitness Instructor.  I have been involved in years of preactical fitness experiences. I have ran in half marathons, and many 5k runs and some obstacle 5k runs. I am experienced in personal training and have experience with physical theraphy. I love people and am passionate about helping others achieve their finess goals.  I love our members and have a strong dedication to them and treat them with compassion. 

When I'm not at the gym I'm working hard to acheive my goals of obtaininga BA BSM degree at UTSA, and enjoying my friends and family.

I believe that getting fit is the first step to a new and healthy lifestyle and I would love to help you with yours.

Body Pump, Body Combat, Circuit & Boot Camp Instructor - Brittany Walker

I have struggled with weight my entire life.  I have experienced ups and downs of weight loss.  The only way to loose weight and keep it off is by working out and being consistant.  I love working out and being motivationg to others.  I want to share my weight loss with everyone and I want my members to see it and be motivated  by it. Exercise is my passion and I'm so proud of my Body Pump and Body Combat certifications.  I also instruct BOOT CAMP and it is very intense but I love doing it and seeing the results of all the members.  Come by and try a class I promise you will love it!! I moved to Devine almost five years ago when I married my husband, we now have two kids ages 3 & 1. I am a stay at home mom and am going to a specialty school for photography. I started coming to Divine Body after my daughter was born a year ago where I was introduced to Body Pump. After six months I decided to become certified to teach myself and to teach others!. I love the program! I love the results that I have gotten from it and that I continually get from it! I want to help and be a tool in other people's fitness journeys. So come see me!

Fitness has always been apart of my life, and I have always been very athletic. I was successful in High School sports and College volleyball as well, but after college fitness slowly became at the very bottom of my priority list.
After the births of my 3 (beautiful) boys, I was determined to get the weight I gained during each pregnancy off only never following through. In 2006, and after 2 previous knee surgeries, I began having severe knee pain(old recurring injury) and went to see my orthopedic doctor. What he said hit me hard, He told me with out a coating of sugar "If you do not loose weight you will, without a doubt, have to have a total knee replacement before the age of thirty". On that day I stood 5 foot 7 inches, two-hundred sixty something pounds, 27 years old. From that day on I was determined to get the weight off!
How did I get here you ask? After taking off over 150 pounds, I felt and still feel great; but great wasn't good enough I wanted to feel AMAZING!
Because of a VERY persistent friend, I agreed to try Body Pump:-/ boy was I scared and after my first class my fears became reality, but the pain drove me...it motivated me. I became a Body Pump junkie, and just when I started to see and feel results and thought things in My fitness life could not get any better I was blessed with the opportunity to train at Divine Body as a Body Pump instructor
Training and helping others reach their fitness goals has been and continues to be a rewarding experience. I truly want to help clients get the results they want.
Many people ask how I have the time to fit exercise in my life and my response is....exercise is not a choice it is a way of life. Not only does it make you feel better, but it helps give me the energy I need to get my other things done and you know the saying "what you don't use, you loose." I believe this and I want to hang on to everything I have as long as I can, ok! The quality of life is far more superior with exercise. As I grow older, I want to continue to enjoy life and have the energy to do the things I enjoy. We are only as old as we feel;-)

IN TRAINING Body Combat Instructor - Angela Bowyer

I’m not obsessed just dedicated! This describes me perfectly. I’ve been married for 11 years and have 3 kiddos- a 10 year old, 3 year old, and 20 mth old! It’s hard to find time to work out with a full time job, have my family time, keep house clean and everything else on my plate, but I make time!

In my younger years I was a pretty fit runner. When I met my husband and started my family 10 years ago, all of my fitness ambitions went right out the door. My all time low (or in this case high) was 200 lbs. and size 18 at a 4’10” height this was no bueno. I fought with weight for 10 years with tons of up and down moments. After my 3rd baby, I decided that was it!

I had to start with walking and minor working out. My body wasn’t physically able to do much. I gradually worked my way up. Last summer I was persuaded to join the Divine Body Boot Camp by a wonderful friend! Wow! I was then introduced to the Body Combat and Pump classes at Divine Body during their launch week. Wow! I have seen the biggest change in my body, energy levels, self-esteem, attitude and so many more areas. I love my Divine Body classes and I love my running. I am now physically and mentally able to conquer my ambitions. I am walking proof that anything is possible with dedication and consistency. I am so excited to be a part of Divine Body! You too can make a difference! Let’s do this TOGETHER!
